Description:
The grapefruit tree is tall, about 35 feet, has glossy, green leaves and bears large, round, yellow citrus fruit. It is native to tropical Asia and believed to be a hybrid of the shaddock and sweet orange. The fruit was given the name "grapefruit' because it grows in clusters, like grapes.
